Article Sources:Easton's Bible Dictionary
A Christian man from Ephesus who lived during the time of the events in the book of Acts (see Acts 21:29). He was part of a group of friends who accompanied the Apostle Paul from Greece on his way to Jerusalem, toward the end of Paul's life. While there, Jews who had seen him with Paul in the streets of the city assumed that Paul had taken him into the temple, which was against the law because he was not Jewish. This caused much difficulty. See Acts 20 and 21 and following.

Trophimus is also mentioned in 2 Timothy 4:20, "I left Trophimus at Miletus because he was sick." This seems to suggests that Trophimus was again traveling with Paul after the events mentioned in Acts, since Paul says that he left him there. These travels are not recorded in the book of Acts, so very little is known about them. This is the last mention of Trophimus in the Bible.
