These are the five "hinges" on which Door43 hangs:

Door43 is a ministry project focused exclusively on equipping followers of Jesus Christ in every culture and language with completely free & open materials and resources of the highest quality to help them grow in maturity as disciples of Christ. Personal experiences, interpretations, or opinions do not belong here. Door43 is not a soapbox, an advertising platform or an indiscriminate collection of information.

Door43 has a neutral point of view, which means we strive for content that advocates no single denominational point of view on matters of peripheral beliefs. Sometimes this requires representing multiple points of view, presenting each point of view accurately with Scriptural support and doing so without attacking or attempting to disprove a differing view - this means purposefully not presenting any point of view as "the exclusive truth" or "the best view". Door43 is a place to lay aside differences of opinion on secondary beliefs for the purpose of working together to advance the Kingdom of God around the world.

When a conflict arises regarding neutrality, the details should be discussed on the talk page, and a consensus reached or mediated.

Door43 is free content that anyone can edit and distribute. Respect copyright laws. Since all your contributions are freely licensed to the public, no editor owns any article; all of your contributions can and will be mercilessly edited and redistributed.

Door43 users should interact in a respectful and civil manner: Respect and be polite to your fellow Door43 users, even when you disagree. Find consensus, avoid edit wars, and avoid personal attacks. Act in good faith, and assume good faith on the part of others. In short: "Do to others as you would have them do to you." We want Door43 to be a showcase of believers agreeing on what is essential and agreeing to agreeably accept different points of view on what is not essential (see what we believe).

Door43 does not have firm rules besides the five general principles presented here. Be bold in editing content and do not worry about making mistakes. Your efforts do not need to be perfect; because prior versions are saved by default, no damage you might do is irreparable.

Note: Door43 reserves the right to cancel any account at any time for any reason. Creation of content that is questionable or contrary to a Biblical lifestyle is prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation of the user's account.
